New construction and development happening in Tryon Hills

Screen Shot 2017-02-05 at 3.52.53 PMThere is an 11.4-acre site just north of Uptown Charlotte between 24th Street and 26th Street along both sides of North Pine Street that is currently vacant and will soon to be home to hundreds of new residential units.

This plot of land was previously home to single-story rental houses as part of the Tryon Hills development. Having been recently demolished and with a new rezoning request in place, plans indicate that a new development here would include town houses as well as four-story apartment buildings, which would make up the majority of the 343 planned residential units.

This area between North Tryon Street and Graham Street is a rapidly growing area of the city. A new major mixed-use development is also planned for a site in the neighborhood on Statesville Avenue, just three blocks from where the 343 new apartments would be built.
